An itinerant pottery workshop is a mobile pottery class that brings all necessary materials and equipment to various locations, such as companies, precints, council run events, community centers and aged care homes, allowing participants to experience pottery in their own communities.
We provide all necessary materials and equipment, including clay, glazes and pottery tools. We only require the venue to have tables, chairs, access to a sink and nearby parking. For kids: we love working on the floor.
It will depend on the program you choose. Workshops vary from 1 to 2 hours, giving participants ample time to learn, create, and enjoy the pottery-making process.
We bring all the creations to fire at our studio in our special kiln. After 2 weeks approx. we deliver all finished work, packed and labelled individually to facilitate the pick up at your centre.
If you are holding a public event and cannot coordinate pick ups, don't worry, we got you! Our On-the -spot session is ideal for participants to paint a pre-fired object and take it home immediately after the workshop.
Our workshops are inclusive to all. Beginner-friendly and supoortive, our programs are accessible to anyone interested in participating.
We design our workshops to respect diverse abilities and backgrounds, incorporating culturally sensitive practices and ensuring that all participants feel welcome and valued.
Our ceramics are fired at a high temperature of 1,210°C to ensure maximum strength and durability.
Yes, our ceramics are microwave and dishwasher safe except the painted pots of On-the-spot session.
