We hosted a pottery class for our clients who rarely get a chance to have time for themselves in their busy lives and they all left the workshop incredibly relaxed and inspired. The teacher was patient and allowed space for creative freedom. The teacher came with every material you could think possible and we felt very blessed to have this all organised for us all. We were able to make as many pieces of pottery as we could, given time to paint and our work was taken away to be fired and returned later in the week. Absolutely fantastic :)
Community Clay has led a number of school holiday workshops at our community centre and they are always extremely popular. Their teaching style and ability to adapt workshops to different age and experience levels is absolutely wonderful.
Vicky has taught a number of other workshops at our centre as well including seniors' sessions, and a special session for our staff development day. Vicky's approach, her connection to the earth and her craft are a rare gift that gently encourages creativity.
